School reopened on 12th January, welcoming excited children arriving with their books, school materials, and bright smiles. Alongside many familiar faces, we were also happy to greet new students joining our school community. Homeroom teachers guided the children into their classes, helping everyone settle in comfortably as the new school year began.
On the first day, we held our school assembly. Students stood proudly for the National Anthem, State Song, and School Song, followed by the school pledge led by Prefect Meshva from Year 6. It was also a special moment for students to meet Mr. Chang, our School Principal, who shared important school updates and welcomed everyone back, followed by our Vice Principal, Ms Jasmine Ong, who also addressed the students.
A highlight of the assembly was the Probationary Prefect Pinning Ceremony, where students taking on leadership roles were formally recognised. This was a proud and meaningful moment, marking the beginning of their responsibilities for the year.
Students were also introduced to the 2026 Co-Curricular Activities (CCA), giving them an overview of the programmes they can look forward to. There was clear excitement as they learned about the different opportunities available beyond the classroom.
The first week focused on helping students settle into routines, reconnect with friends, and prepare for a year of learning and growth. It was a positive and energetic start, setting the tone for a meaningful year in Inspiros International School.
