MSSD / MSSS (Chess, Cross Country & Swimming)

 

April was an exciting month for our students who represented the school in various district (MSSD) and state-level (MSSS) sports competitions. From endurance races and swimming meets to intense chess matches, our students displayed outstanding commitment, skill, and sportsmanship. Below is a summary of their notable performances.

Ryhunny binti Rafify (Year 8) represented the school in the Girls Under-15 category at the Kejohanan Merentas Desa MSSD Petaling Perdana 2025, held on 10 April at Taman Botani Shah Alam. Out of 215 participants, she placed 24th, a commendable achievement showcasing her endurance and determination.

At the Kejohanan Akuatik MSS Selangor 2025 (16–18 April), Goh Yen Sern (Year 10) competed in the Boys Under-18 category, winning 2nd place in the 400m Freestyle and placing within the top 10 in multiple other events—an excellent display of skill and consistency. Goh Yen Han (Year 8), competing in the Boys Under-15 category, showed strong potential with top-20 finishes in various strokes, including 14th in the 100m Butterfly and 12th in the 200m Individual Medley.

Our students performed well at the Kejohanan Catur MSSD Petaling Perdana 2025 (21–22 April). In the Boys Under-15, Tan Wen Ler (Year 10) led with 5 wins, while Sam and Sean Tieh (Year 8) and Rizqy Hadaya (Year 10) also earned strong results. In the Girls Under-15, Hania Khan (Year 9) achieved 5 wins, and in the Girls Under-18, Cynthia Monica (Year 10) earned 4 wins and 1 draw, followed by Emily Yong (Year 10) with 3 wins. Their performances reflected strong strategy and discipline.

We are proud of every student who represented the school and thank the coaches, teachers, and parents for their continuous support. We look forward to seeing even greater accomplishments in the coming months. Congratulations to all!
