Hari Raya Celebration

Hari Raya Celebration

That wonderful time of year is here – Hari Raya Aidilfitri! It is a time of joy, gratitude, and spending time with your loved ones. At Inspiros, we embrace tradition, camaraderie, and an abundance of fun to capture the joy of the festival. We gather as one community to celebrate the authentic essence of Hari Raya, from captivating performances to festive decorations, and the buoyant spirit of our students.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the student dance performance, where students showcased traditional Malay dance styles with grace and energy. Adding a creative twist to the celebration, the Year 11 students presented a special Hari Raya video skit, which continued from their previous Chinese New Year performance. This skit cleverly portrayed the importance of unity, respect, and cultural harmony, using humour and heartfelt storytelling to convey its message. It was a wonderful demonstration of how our students are learning to value and respect the diverse cultures in our community.

The atmosphere reached new heights when our talented teachers took to the stage. Their singing performance was both moving and entertaining, capturing the spirit of togetherness that defines Hari Raya. A duet performance by Ms Mimi with Mr Tan and Ms Ayunie with Mr Hazrol particularly stood out, combining strong vocals and heartwarming harmony that had the crowd cheering.

To wrap up the event on a high note, the celebration concluded with a fun and spontaneous karaoke session, also led by our teachers. Their willingness to take the stage and sing their hearts out reminded us of all of the joy that comes from letting loose and celebrating as one big school family.
