Our school’s badminton team delivered an impressive performance at the Petaling Perdana District Tournament, held from 13 to 21 April. Over the course of the week-long competition, the team proudly brought home a total of four gold medals and one bronze medal, marking a significant achievement for the school.
In the Under-15 Boys’ Doubles category, Sam and Sean Tieh emerged as champions, demonstrating excellent teamwork and skill. Similarly, Himari and Wan Xin secured victory in the Under-15 Girls’ Doubles category. Wan Xin further added to the school’s success by winning a bronze medal in the Under-15 Girls’ Singles event. Considering that the tournament featured over 1,800 matches, these accomplishments reflect the team’s dedication and high level of performance.
In addition to badminton, our students also participated in the MSSD Tennis Competition on 20 April. The event provided valuable exposure and an opportunity to further develop their tennis skills. Competing against players from Sri KL School and other institutions, the students enhanced their technique, adaptability, and overall gameplay.
Beyond the competitive aspect, the tournament also offered opportunities to build friendships with fellow participants, making the experience both meaningful and enjoyable. Overall, the students found the competition rewarding, leaving with a strong sense of achievement, happiness, and personal growth. |
