On the 21st of March, the Year 11 students embarked on a college tour to Heriot-Watt University in Putrajaya as part of their ongoing efforts to broaden their horizons, explore potential career pathways, and gain insight into life beyond secondary school.
Upon arrival, students were welcomed with an informative briefing about the university, its campus environment, and the wide range of courses offered. They also took part in an engaging Q&A session, where winners were rewarded with official university merchandise, including a charming unicorn mascot.
Following the briefing, students were divided into two groups based on their academic interests – the sciences and the humanities. Each group was taken on a guided tour of the campus facilities, which included a game room, a tennis room, numerous meeting rooms, and the innovative ‘365 Room’ – a dedicated space for student leisure and relaxation. |
